Purpose of data processing The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the website to be delivered to the visitor’s computer. To do this, the visitor’s IP address must be stored for the duration of the session. The data is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the files serve to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

Cookies are used within the portal. These are small text files that are stored on your device and assigned to the browser you are using, and through which certain information flows to the location that sets the cookie.

We use such cookies to make visiting our portal attractive, to enable the use of certain functions and to be able to display suitable products.

The automatically collected information about the use of the portal by users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating the IP anonymization used in our portal, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is generally not merged with other Google data.

As part of our portal, we also market advertising spaces for third-party advertising and advertising networks. In this context, we use Google AdSense and Ad Exchange. Google AdSense and Ad Exchange are services of Google LLC ( www.google.com ). The Google DoubleClick cookie is also used in connection with the use of the Google AdSense and Ad Exchange services. In this way, the services are able to collect certain information about user behavior, in order to determine the interests of the user by visiting our portal and other websites and to be able to display tailored advertising. The user is assigned via a pseudonymous UserID.
