Apple has long advocated privacy protection with features like “Sign-In-With-Apple”. As part of the WWDC, this core topic could not be missing and so there were some innovations to announce:

Temporary login data from “Sign-In-With-Apple” can also be converted into a permanent account in the future:


In the future, the user should have even more control over his location data, so in future only an approximate location can be shared. However, there is now more transparency for apps that have access to a microphone or camera. An indicator in the status bar now shows the corresponding access:

As is well known, permissions under iOS can be assigned for location access, among other things. A new form of authorization control is now also being introduced for tracking data. iOS users can now choose whether apps can also collect data in other apps:

Developers submitting an app to Apple must now specify whether data is collected and whether it is shared.
